Forest shrouds, red sand, linen, paint, a well, glass, detritus, the Grand Street Community in Albany, NY.
A small child wandering through the forest of branches and brambles to drop her wish into the well. It will live in the floor of the abandoned church until it crumbles. The building has since been reopeneded as a community arts center, and when the floors are replaced in the process of the restoration, the words and wishes left in the well will become a part of the building.
